Philosophy Statement
Library: The mission of the library at MMS is to provide library skills instruction and provide a diverse collection of information and resources, in an inviting space that prepares students for their global interactions.
School: The MMS staff will maintain a safe and orderly environment where all students will be given opportunities to learn the Virginia Standards of Learning and to develop and reinforce 21st Century Skills. All students and staff will be expected to focus on learning, effective communication and collaboration, as well as respectful interactions and cooperation.
Students may check out any number of books. Students are responsible for the care of their checked-out books, please keep books in a safe place, away from food and water. Damaged or lost books will be the student’s responsibility. When books are finished being read, please return them as soon as possible, so another reader may enjoy them.
